Certifications are issued through Protrainings and are accepted for all forms of non-healthcare related certification requirements.

These classes fulfill all requirements for those certified as Foster Parents, Group Homes, Child Cares, Day cares, and Elder Care facilities.

This program meets all OSHA requirements. 

Our instructors meet the requirements for the Colorado Department of Human Services approved vendor program.  

training is based upon the internationally accepted guidelines established by ILCOR the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation. The training adheres to 2020 ECC Guidelines and is based on the Consensus Conference on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care Science.

The curriculum is equivalent and follows the same guidelines taught by American Red Cross, American Heart Association, and the National Safety Council.

American Health Association training adheres to OSHA regulations. Meets guidelines of the following organizations: US Dept. of Labor, US Dept. of Health and Human Services.

This class is for everyone that is not working in the medical field. -Daycare providers, personal trainers, coaches, school teachers, construction, etc. The skills in this class include: opening the person's airway, rescue breathing, choking for the conscious and unconscious person, CPR, use of an AED, bleeding control, and first aid. You will also learn the importance of proper patient assessment. Then after a thorough evaluation of the patient you will learn skills such as bleeding control, immobilization of fractures, strains and sprains, burn care, asthma, diabetes, seizures, anaphylactic shock, and much more.

***IMPORTANT - YOU MUST COMPLETE THE ONLINE CONTENT BEFORE ATTENDING CLASS***

 

This course will train instructor candidates to teach basic-level American Red Cross First Aid, CPR and AED courses. In order to participate in this course, you must possess a current basic-level American Red Cross Adult CPR/AED (or higher level) certification or equivalent and be at least 16 years of age on the last day of the instructor course. Upon registration, it is important that you review and follow the directions on the e-mail attachment sent with your registration confirmation. This is a blended learning course consisting of online content, a precourse skills session and classroom segments. Online material must be completed prior to attending the classroom activities. For more information, please reference the attachment you will receive via e-mail when you register for this course.

Thank you for registering for the American Red Cross Instructor Course.  You will receive an email with directions for completing the on-line portion of the training.  If you do not have a current provider card for CPR or BLS please call for information on how to obtain one for a reduced rate before the class.
